Can I add a charm to a necklace I already own?

Yes. Most of our charms can be added to a chain or necklace you already have, as long as the clasp or bail fits.

What is the difference between solid gold and gold-filled charms?

Solid 14K gold charms are gold all the way through. 14K gold-filled charms have a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal, so they look like gold and resist tarnish at a lower price.

Will my charm tarnish?

Solid gold will not tarnish. Gold-filled resists tarnish. Sterling silver can darken over time and is easy to polish with a soft cloth.

Do charms make good gifts?

Yes. A charm is a personal, affordable gift, and it is easy to add more for future birthdays and milestones.
