What is a candy necklace?

Our candy necklaces are strands of colorful gemstone beads, hand-knotted on silk, inspired by the classic candy necklace. They are fine jewelry, not candy.

Will gold-filled necklaces tarnish?

14K gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of real gold bonded to the base metal, so it resists tarnish and does not flake like gold-plated jewelry.

Can I wear my necklace in the shower or ocean?

We recommend taking it off. Water can weaken silk knotting over time and can dull some gemstones and pearls.

How do I choose a necklace length?

A 16 to 18 inch necklace sits near the collarbone, which is the most versatile length for everyday wear and layering.

Can a necklace be made longer or shorter?

Many pieces can be adjusted. Contact us before ordering and we will let you know what is possible.
