Are materials provided, and what kind of gemstones do we use?

Yes, all premium materials are fully provided! You will design your custom candy necklace using high-quality, genuine semiprecious gemstones, premium silk cord, and your choice of professional 14K gold-filled or sterling silver clasps.

What is the minimum group size to book a private jewelry class?

We host private Key West craft workshops for groups with a minimum of 8 people. This makes our classes perfectly sized for bachelorette parties, family milestones, corporate outings, and private group celebrations.

Can you bring the jewelry class directly to our vacation rental or venue?

Absolutely. Our craft classes are completely mobile. We can host your group at our preferred local partner spaces or bring the entire jewelry-making setup straight to your Key West home, vacation rental, or corporate event venue.

Classes Are Non-Refundable

**ALL WORKSHOPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF RESERVATION AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND.

Hi, I'm Karen, the founder and maker behind Coral Strands Jewelry. I’m not technically "certified" in anything—unless you count a black belt in untangling knotted silk cords or a master's degree in keeping fabric glue off my own fingers. But I do know how to create a great experience.

Before trading sugar and butter for silk, gold, and gemstones, I spent my creative career building a successful wedding catering business featured in Forbes, Martha Stewart, and on the Cooking Channel. Crafting unforgettable, high-end experiences taught me the true value of detail—a principle that now guides every single workshop I host.

Now living and working exclusively in Key West, my workshops leverage my personal, everyday experience in professional, small-batch assembly. I provide premium materials, proven workflows, and patient guidance so you can skip the frustrating steps and jump straight into the joy of creating a stunning piece of functional art.
